Miguel Melendez is a Senior Editor at Yahoo! Sports and a Men's Journal Contributing Writer. He was previously a Senior Writer at Entertainment Tonight and a Writer/Producer for almost six years at TMZ. Before covering entertainment news, Miguel spent 16 years as a sports journalist at CBS Sports, USA TODAY, FOX Sports, NFL Network, Los Angeles Daily News, and The Orange County Register. He's based in Austin, Texas.


Miguel serves on the Board of Directors at LAs BEST, a non-profit after-school enrichment program benefiting more than 25,000 children in Los Angeles. He's also a member of CCNMA: Latino Journalists of California and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.
